Became entirely ready to have God remove all our defects of character.

Back to the steps and this one carries an ethereal felt sense to it more so than any of the other 12 because to me it involves not only naming the deity, God but also that by merely with the mindset of willingness these defects of character will be sequestered. Questions to be pondered are: What does it mean to be “entirely ready” and: How does God remove our defects of character especially when we as alcoholics are constantly taking our will back even if we have turned it over to our Higher Power the day before?
